Master of Arts in Teaching — MAT: Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education

EKU’s online Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in IECE is designed for individuals who already hold a non-teaching bachelor’s degree and are interested in becoming an early childhood education teacher.


Format: 100% online
Credit Hours: 44 hours
2017-2018 Tuition: $510 per credit hour
                                          $325 per credit hour for active duty military
Transfer Credits Accepted: 9 hours
Career Options:  Elementary education teacher, public preschool coordinator; Head start coordinator, Head Start administrator, directors of early childhood centers, administrators of early childhood centers, Kentucky Department of Education worker, Kentucky Division of Child Care worker; specialist or coach (P-12), teacher leader educator
