Master of Arts in Education — School Media Librarian (P-12)

EKU’s online Master of Arts in Education School Media Librarian(P-12) degree is designed to help certified teachers prepare to serve as school media librarians and teacher leaders in P-12 schools, impacting their classrooms, districts and communities. The role of school librarians continues to evolve and requires flexible, creative individuals who can successfully implement and utilize new technology in the classroom.

Program requirements

  • Prospective graduate students must meet the admissions requirements of the Graduate School.
  • Candidates without prior graduate coursework must either have earned an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (or a GPA of 3.25 or higher in their last 60 hours) or they must submit GRE scores.
  • Candidates must have a valid teaching certification.
