EKU Online Graduate Program in Education Ranks in the Top 10

The EKU Online Graduate Program in Education ranks 10th in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report. A 2013 report ranked a total of 208 schools offering online graduate education programs and placed EKU in the top tier. Eastern Kentucky University offers graduate study in Elementary Education, Learning and Behavior Disorders, Educational Leadership, Library Science and Safety and Facilities Management. There’s also an option for adding certification in Learning and Behavior Disorders.

Online students connect with faculty and classmates through tools like video lectures, podcasts and discussion boards, participate in a core curriculum focused on training teachers as leaders and engage in assignments and action research to build critical thinking skills. The faculty and staff are student-focused and dedicated to providing individualized attention and support. 

The program also ranked first in its category in the inaugural U.S. News & World Report rankings of “Best Online Programs for Veterans.”
